Reflection on Uses of Chemical Studies

Chemistry can be considered a great factor of help, but the real use of chemistry is its study. Chemical studies can tell us a lot about the outside world and industry, as well as make correction and interrogate modern inventions. In this reflection, I will tell you on how chemistry studies affect the modern world.
As we all know, elements make up most of our world, which react in different ways with each other. The first major aspect is safety and security of the world. Chemistry does not allow people to create the absurd and innovative inventions, but limits the resources. For example, there cant be potassium inventions that can interact with water, because that equals to a violent reaction. Can you see the message, chemical safety limits our development. Although our technology is thriving, some inventions are denied due to chemical awareness.
Although the first factor was a con, the secondary aspect is a pro. Chemical studies can also improve technology and development. Chemical reactions also have positive impacts on the world and produce various uses. Therefore, the variety of uses can help in the creation of various instruments and inventions. Industry could also thrive and improve in safety/effectiveness.
For the last factor, I desired to express some facts in attempt to show how big of a role chemistry and its studies play in the real world. When I look at it, chemistry and elements are found everywhere through the world. They actually make up everything around us. Due to this fact, everything is based on it. Chemistry forms the very base of inventions and industry, if it does not pass the chemistry, Access Denied!
In conclusion, I have learned many things from this unit including how chemistry affects the world. There are many other minor factors but in my opinion these three were the main ones. Over all, this unit was really exciting and I look forward with eagerness to the ones that follow.

Chemistry Reflection

Throughout this whole unit, I really learned a lot about chemistry and the ways it can affect our planet. There are some main factors that I want to determine that bounce back and forth throughout the whole unit. The first main aspect would be the covalent and ionic bonds that are formed. An ionic bond is the attraction between two oppositional charged ions. (positive and negative ions get attracted). Unlike the ionic bonds, a covalent bond is where the two different atoms share electrons to satisfy each other. Therefore, these two bonds are a major and crucial factor in the chemistry world. Another important factor and basic aspect of chemistry is the periodic table. The periodic table is the base of chemistry, it lays out everything in a visible point. We started off the unit by learning this table itself. I still remember not having a clue, but now, I fell like an expert in it. It defined for me the atoms and how they are similar or different. How they combine and form specific bonds, as well as the sharing of electrons. I just remember the past, and just now I see how much I have truly learned. I could surely say that this was a topic I learned most from. The next aspect I wanted to share was the acids and bases, which included out last lab. I studied the difference and similarities between acids and bases. I also received a chance to use my knowledge in the last lab.
To conclude this reflection off, I believe that I learned a whole lot from this topic and unit. I enjoyed the activities as well as the experiments that went with them. This unit was a huge success.
